Our Philosophy

Your information belongs to you.

We only collect the information needed to deliver better watch recommendations, more relevant content, and a genuinely personalized experience. We don't build creepy profiles, we don't sell your information, and we don't collect data we don't need.

Simple as that.

What We Collect

When you unlock your personalized recommendations, you tell us about your taste — and we hold onto it so we can actually use it to help you. Here's everything we keep:

  • Your email address — so we can deliver your recommendations and keep you updated with watches you'll actually care about.
  • The watches you own or love — what you enter to start a scan. This is the heart of how we understand your taste.
  • The styles you're drawn to — the design directions you pick.
  • Your Target Price Range — the level you're comfortable investing in your next watch.
  • Your size and thickness preferences — the case dimensions that actually work for you.
  • Your grail — the dream watch you're chasing, if you tell us.

That's the full list. Every bit of it is taste information you hand us on purpose, so we can point you toward watches that genuinely fit — not to track you, and not to build a picture of you beyond what you've told us about your watch preferences.

To help keep spam and automated bots away, we also use Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process limited technical information (such as your IP address) solely to verify you're a real person. It's a security measure — not an advertising or tracking tool.

Why We Collect It

Every piece of information has one purpose: to help you discover watches you'll actually want to own.

Your email lets us deliver recommendations, new discoveries, and collector insights.

Everything else — your owned watches, styles, price range, size and thickness preferences, and grail — does two things: it makes your newsletter genuinely personalized (so you get watches that fit your taste instead of generic noise), and it helps us improve the recommendations themselves over time. If you love thin, dial-forward field watches around $1,500, there's no reason to send you $15,000 dress watches or entry-level fashion pieces. The more we understand what you're after, the sharper we can be.

One promise on this: your information will only ever be used to personalize your experience and improve the watches we recommend to you. It won't be repurposed, rented, or quietly used for something you didn't sign up for. That's not a "for now" — it's the deal.

That's personalization — not surveillance.

Who We Share It With

We keep this list short on purpose:

  • Beehiiv — our newsletter platform. They store your email and preferences so we can actually send you the recommendations and updates you signed up for. They handle this information on our behalf, and they don't get to use it for their own purposes.
  • Cloudflare — the bot check mentioned above, working quietly in the background to keep things human.
  • Vercel — hosts the site and provides basic, privacy-friendly analytics: page views and where visitors came from. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal profiles.

We will never sell your information. Not now, not ever, not to anyone. We don't share it beyond the three services above, and it will only ever be used for one purpose: making your recommendations and your newsletter better. Full stop.

A Note on Affiliate Links

Some of the watches we point you toward may include affiliate links. That means if you buy through one of them, we might earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. It's one of the ways this could eventually pay for itself.

And we'll never sneak these in. Any email that contains affiliate links will say so plainly — something like "this email contains personalized affiliate links" — right up front. You'll always know when a link might earn us a commission, because hiding that would be exactly the kind of thing we built this to not do.

Clicking those links may take you to other sites (like eBay or established retailers) that run their own show when it comes to privacy. Once you're on their turf, their policies apply, not ours.

Your Information, Your Call

Because your information belongs to you, you're always in the driver's seat. You can:

  • Unsubscribe anytime — every email has a one-click unsubscribe. No hard feelings, no hoops, no "are you sure?" guilt trips.
  • Ask what we have — curious what's tied to your email? Just ask, and we'll tell you exactly what we've got.
  • Ask us to delete it — want out completely? Say the word and we'll remove your information — all of it — from our records for good.

To do any of these, just email us at enabler@mywristradar.com and a real person will take care of it.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. No quiet edits, no burying things in fine print. If it matters, we'll make it easy to see.

Questions?

Anything at all — about your information, this policy, or how any of it works — reach out at enabler@mywristradar.com. You'll get a straight answer from an actual human.

Because at the end of the day, this whole thing only works if you trust us with your inbox. We don't take that lightly.
